Ten eerste het tweede deel van de fluff. Dit is een battlereport van de eerste campaign battle.

This report will be brief, since we are still engaging hostile forces. The chaos strike cruisers appear to be using modified weaponry, which suggest they know more about the SCT than we would like. In addition to this, our planet side deployment of the guard legion was met with heavy resistance from a Necron taskforce. Commander Kona was ambushed as soon as the battalion disembarked from the dropships. He was able to quickly organize his forces and counter assault using his rapid response Hellhounds and Chimera armored column, supported by heavy artillery barrages. We dispatched additional reinforcements via Vendetta to assist while we are still locked in the void war. There was a confirmed sighting of a fully active Necron Monolith, suggesting this might be a tomb world. Unfortunately it phased out before we could study its technology.
Commander Kona reports that his deployment is now complete, and he has begun scavenging supplies in the commercial district. We should be able to make our push towards the citadel soon.
The new Marbot prototype is performing brilliantly. Increased production is highly advised.
We have in statis guardsman Gump who managed to survive both a flameblast from an unknown robed Necron lord, and a power matrix blast from the Monolith. Unfortunately he died later in the battle, but his genes will be analyzed for reproduction in future combat servitors.

Ten tweede twee huidige projectjes. Ja ik weet, teveel tegelijk willen doen. Maar deze lagen in de weg, dus maar alvast gedeeltelijk in elkaar zetten zodat het resin niet meer kan beschadigen door de zak steeds te verplaatsen. Mocht het niet duidelijk zijn; de rechtste is een land raider achilles. De linker is een Mortian Heavy Battle tank. Zit tussen de Leman Russ en Malcador in.

Absoluut niet voor de beginner. Ik geloof dat mn zaag ondertussen bot is van het resin bewerken. Ik ben er ook vrij zeker van dat er stukken resin in het plafond geschoten zijn, en daar nu hangen. Maar het begint ergens op te lijken! Je ziet duidelijk nog gaten en kieren waar nog bijgeslepen moet worden, maar goed, gaat om het idee nog.



Ter indicatie, dit is alleen van nu het slijpsel. En dit is de derde dag dat ik er mee bezig ben.

Commander Kona has successfully captured the space port. It was primarily defended by heavy armor brigades. The specialist squads benefitted greatly from the new Mark II ocular implants, enabling them to target vital weak spots on the enemy armor, ensuring their swift destruction. Their grav-chutes still need some optimising. If not for their frantic steering they would have landed out of optimal firing range.
The bulk of the chaos space marine legion were not present to defend, suggesting two things: Our blitz deployment and swift engagement has taken them completely by surprise, denying them the chance to mount a proper counter-offensive. Secondly, their more mobile forces are deployed elsewhere. Probability calculations from the logic engines suggest they are somewhere underground, searching for data on the SCT.
As soon as Commander Kona took control of the space port control room, the Chaos Cruisers in orbit lost the use of their modified weaponry. Even though our boarding parties were repelled, the firepower of the Acer Convictio aided by the EMP-bombers drove them to the edge of the system. As long as they remain at max scanner range they will not be able to assist the chaos forces still on or below the surface.
We are sending tech-marines planetside to research the link between the space port and the weapons systems. We also dispatched scouting parties to look for the missing Chaos forces.

“Apologies Lord, both our local vox network and automated repair systems seem to be malfunctioning. Operators report they are hearing …. giggling.”
“Giggling aye? Send out runners instead to get manual reports. Do it the old fashioned way!”
However, he wasn’t so sure anymore he wanted to know how this experimental weaponry operated…

En dan weer eens een update. De eerste Armoured company unit: cyclops remote control demolition squad. Ja Frank, dit zijn de "rhino scale centaurs" die jij me aanraadde

Let op met slijpen van resins/kunstharsen. Zet iig een fijnstofmasker en bril op je snuit want dat spul wil je niet in je longen of in je ogen.

Haha, ik had al zo'n vermoeden dat ze veel te klein zouden zijn Ik had zelf ook al gekeken naar 40K tank alternatieven op schaal, met name IG, maar dat is nog een stuk lastiger dan je zou denken. Je moet ergens tussen de 1/48 en 1/35 kijken, heroic scale (1/56) is veel te klein.

Passen wel perfect in die Chimaera, was dat toeval of een kwestie van converten? Op zich een super alternatief op die Cyclops demolition vehicles.
