John and Dave’s after-match minute

So, Dave, what about those babes of doom? Were they a deserving matchwinner against the Steelers tonight?

‘I don’t know about that John. The game could have gone either way, but mostly is was a rather boring display of Dreadball tonight. The Steelers were definitely not at their best, missing pass after pass and failing to put a dent in ABOD’s defences, even though they gave it plenty of tries.’

I agree Dave. At least ABOD seemed to have a solid plan, even if they were using the age-old ‘castle’ tactic of surrounding the ball with broad shoulders until the strikers could pick it up.

Exactly John! Well, they may not have scored any three or four-pointers, but the babes were in a constant lead throughout the match. Sure, the Steelers made a fantastic three-point comeback to even the score, but it just wasn’t good enough. They did come very close to winning though, the last three rushes were VERY exiting!

That they were Dave! If only that last-turn steal would have worked the Steelers could have pulled off a victory despite their overall poor performance. Good for ABOD that they didn’t! Let’s finish up with Steeler coach Stautner’s post-match commentary.

Stautner: IT’S A DISGRACE! EVERYONE KNOWS WOMEN CAN’T REALLY PLAY DREADBALL! I’VE ALREADY FILED CHARGES FOR DRUG-USE, ILLEGAL EQUIPMENT AND FOR MATCH-FIXING WITH THE DGB. ANY SANE PERSON COULD SEE THE STEELERS SHOULD HAVE EASILLY WON AGAINST THESE AMATEURS.

Well John, that certainly sounds like Stautner. I guess they can add his charges to the ones from all the previous matches the Steelers have lost. And that will be all from us for now folks!
